Spring has arrived and this time of year our scenery gets a much needed face lift. We go from dead yards and bare trees to green grass, blossoming flowers, and budding trees. We also, here, at the Grayson County Juvenile Services gave the tiny house a much needed face lift. The boys in the facility, as well as some of our probation kids, worked hard with the Sherman ISD shop teacher on the outside of the tiny house during the spring break week. They added a faux rock accent to the bottom of the house and used Hardie board to cover the rest. Prior to beginning all of the kids had to go through safety and proper use curriculum for a job site and the tools that they would be using. After the course was complete they put what they learned in class to good use on the tiny house. I hope you like what they have done!!!
